A 1.2 m sock that floats and repels water, for containing oil on floors, bunds and water surfaces.

Construction

Oil-only media absorbs hydrocarbons while repelling water, so the sock keeps working in wet conditions instead of becoming saturated with the wrong liquid. The 1.2 m length can be bent around drains and machine feet.

  • Machine base leaks
  • Oil sheen on coolant tanks

Handling notes

Socks are a containment measure, not a drain seal. For emergency drain protection, use a dedicated drain cover as well.
