The long-cuff version: a 12-inch sterile PVC glove that covers the forearm when a coverall sleeve rides up.
Construction
Twelve inches of cuff covers the forearm and the coverall seal, which is the gap that opens when an operator reaches into an isolator. The film is the same sterile PVC as the 9-inch reference.
Where it is used
- Isolator and RABS interventions
- Deep reach into tanks and enclosures
- Aseptic operations with a raised sleeve
Handling notes
Long cuffs trap heat. Rotate operators on long interventions rather than wearing the 12-inch glove for a full shift.
